Jerry Barnaby has over 31 years of diverse experience in the rail industry. With a comprehensive background in tank and freight car repair, rail transportation, and railroad management, he has excelled in designing and improving processes to drive productivity gains and optimize resource utilization. Mr. Barnaby’s expertise spans project planning and execution, process optimization, quality assurance/control, cost reduction, team leadership, and high-performance team facilitation.
Mr. Barnaby’s prior experience includes roles as Plant Superintendent and General Forman at Transco Railway Products inc. and Quality Assurance Manager at Trinity Railcar Repair, Inc. He has held multiple certifications and undergone comprehensive training in various areas, including NDT level II for weld inspection (AVT), lead testing (LT), angle and straight beam ultrasonic inspection (UT), liquid dye penetrant (PT), Magnetic Particle (MT) other relevant disciplines include post weld heat treatment, M-1002 weld certification, roller bearing mounting, and more.
Beyond work, Jerry enjoys woodworking, remodeling, welding, golfing, snowmobiling, skiing, off-roading, and camping, embracing the thrill of outdoor adventures and the serenity of nature.
